Stop watch "return in flight" or "Flyback"Any typos are as a result of direct translation of the original French. The stop watch with function return in flight has a characteristic
compared to a traditional stop watch.
OperationStarting position, the stop watch is not under operation
The hammers are raised. Departure of the stop watch.
While pressing on the starting push rod, one actuates the order, which, by the intermediary of the hook (red arrow), will make turn the wheel to column.
The nozzle of the brake will go up on a column and thus will release the wheel of stop watch (see image of left). The nozzle of the rocker of clutch will fall between two columns and thus, the transmission coils on field-wheel of clutch-wheel of stop watch could be done. Return in flight (flyback)
One presses on the push rod of restoring when your stop
watch is moving. This makes it possible to avoid any contact during the restoring, between the finger of stop watch and the intermediate gear of minutes.
The red arrow indicates the intermediate gear of meter minutes and above the arrow, the rocker of disengaging which pushes the wheel axle. At the time of this function the brake remains raised.
