Chapter 94 to Rebuild Historic San Jose Museum of Modern Art Tower Clock!

San Jose Club for Horologists Vows to be Caretaker for Historic Landmark.

10-06-05 -- In California today, Chapter 94 of the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors (NAWCC) announced that a Letter of Understanding, outlying a ten year commitment to the clock tower, has been submitted to the City of San Jose, the San Jose Museum of Modern Art and the "It's About Time Steering Committee."

The members of Chapter 94 are excited about the proposed clock tower restoration project at the downtown Museum. "The tower clock is an exquisite example of old world artistry; and, it's only fitting that it's exhibition contrasts beautifully with the equally exquisite examples of modern art on display in the museum," said Bob Johnson a longtime admirer and previous restorer of the tower clock.

"The entire organization [Chapter 94] is eager to jump into this restoration. We have the expertise and the passion to make the project a success. All of our members are dedicated to a expanded presence in the San Jose and Santa Clara County community," Dan Blair Secretary of Chapter 94.
